Biography:
Born in the shadow of the people living on the hill, south of the river but north of the sea. Living under a south london sky. Dick is one of 4 brothers who call south london home. Growing up within a stones throw of the river wandle, an open sewer in his childhood, the wimbledon palais haunt of rock n rolling Johnny Kidd, and dreaming, in a bedroom rocked by the main line trains running between Waterloo and the coast, of touching those trains and flying with other peoples dreams to a land of milk and honey. Dick never did fly he got a job and after 27 years with BT grabbed a guitar and started to sing. Passionate, intelligent, angry, happy and sad - South London Folk for people everywhere living in the shadow of the hill.
