Biography:
CuteLoony began as a 2-piece in Cornwall, playing popular Folk and Blues classics mixed in with original songs at local open-mic hotspots. 5 years on we are now a full band lead by female vocals with 12 string guitar, bass, drums and trombone. We performed nearly 70 times last year and already have many fun events organised for 2008.
In the past months we have been nominated (and shortlisted) for an Indy Music Award and played some awesome gigs, supporting big names on the European circuit including Sian Evans from hit band KOSHEEN and Italian Superstars AMYCANBE.
We have played on many stages all over the UK and in Italy including the infamous 100 Club in Oxford St, the legendary Moles Club in Bath, Bristol’s Ashton Court Festivals and Bath Fringe Festivals not to mention ‘La Festa Di L’Unita’ in Florence and Rome which pulls crowds of up to 10,000 people a night!
In the Summer of 2007 we were given preference over OASIS to record 4 more songs with Italian Producer Alessandro Massa at his studios in
