Biography:
PERICO write and perform music that has people flummoxed as to how to describe them.....something like a collision between jerky alt-rock and woozy folk-inflected bar-room music, with an array of instrumentation to put most bands to shame. Often, live projected animation from the PAPER CINEMA adds a surreal and original visual dimension to every show.
Recently, Perico and the Paper Cinema have played at the Latitudeand Big Chill Festivals and a number of key London venues:
Battersea Arts Centre, Cargo, 93 Feet East (Rock 'n' Roll Cinema), SE1 Club, and recently FABRIC as part of Future Cinema's METROPOLIS themed End of Tour Extravaganza ....confirming them as one of the most original live acts around, musically and visually...
